Catching Fire Movie Release Date: November 22, 2013

It’s a long way off, especially after just watching the first one, but at least we’re confirmed it’s being made.  I’ll be the first to say that I can’t wait!

We’ve been getting this question a lot lately… OF COURSE! The Hunger Games Movie just rocked the box office over the course of its opening weekend, breaking records and reeling in $155 million in ticket sales. The Hunger Games broke the box office record for highest grossing nonsequal and ranked at No. 3 for biggest box office opening of all time.

So what does that mean for a Catching Fire Movie? They are going to do one WITHOUT QUESTION. With such a huge success at the box office (and such an epic movie in general), we’ll be seeing lots more of Katniss, Peeta, Gail, & the whole crew at the box office around this time next year!
